Hybrid Exchange GRVT Introduces Onchain Retail Price Improvement Orders
GRVT, a licensed hybrid crypto exchange, has launched retail price improvement orders (RPI), marking a significant step in blending traditional finance features with decentralized ecosystems. The new feature, accessible via GRVT's web and mobile platforms, ensures retail traders receive better execution prices than those visible in the public order book.
The automated process operates transparently: when a trade is initiated, the system scans for superior prices through RPI and executes orders at the improved rate if available. Retail traders are matched exclusively with non-algorithmic counterparts, fostering fairness and targeted liquidity.
"RPI isn't just an order type—it's a leap forward for DeFi," said Hong Yea, GRVT's co-founder and CEO. "By delivering better prices without compromising self-custody, we're proving advanced execution and decentralization can coexist." GRVT's hybrid model combines off-chain order matching with on-chain settlements, bridging the gap between TradFi and DeFi.
